CREAMFIELDS | PAINTJAM - LARGE WALL MURAL

 

Paint jam was a large-scale street art event devised by curator Sam Skinner to unite the colourful ‘Creamfields’ crowd with some of Merseyside’s freshest artists. Working with architect Ken Martin, a triangular folly was designed that served as both an architectural intervention and a dynamic canvas for artists to paint on live over the two days of the festival.

“Paintjam” sought to engage a public that is not easily reached, with work that was contemporary, analogous and generous to the spirit of ‘Creamfields’. The event went down a storm and was a great success. All the artists collaborated well together and we “Chimp Creative” received international coverage from ‘MTV Australia’ as well as coverage filmed for ‘Cream.tv’.
