NHS BLOOD CLINIC | INTERIOR DESIGN

While Working with the NHS as part of the Arts in health program, we have had the opportunity to display our artwork in some of the most surprising of environments, this one being the OCD Blood clinic. The work revolves around the idea of  aesthetically improving hospitals, so that while patients visit and staff work, they have an interesting and less clinical environment to be surrounded by. This offers many advantages and has been proven to help stimulate positive feelings and even reduce recovery time of patients when ill.

The design for the blood clinic was created by delving into a number of subjects, from the research gathered we decided to take our main inspiration from tropical wildlife and foliage and created this colorful scene. The designs purpose is to offer patients and staff a sense of escape and well-being while in the blood clinic and from the feedback received we definitely achieved this goal. All our work in hospital environments is clinically safe, can be deep cleaned and passes Fire & Health and safety regulations approved by the National Health Service.
